Stronger than Ever
"I was in perfect health." Meet Blanche, a cancer survivor who was stunned to learn that she had breast cancer. After enduring five chemo treatments, Blanche began radiation therapy and quickly bonded with others going through the same experience. Tune in on October 13, 2009 to hear more about her journey.
Taking aggressive action
Last September, Blanche finished her chemo and radiation treatments and thought she was in the clear. The following January, she learned that the breast cancer was back. Blanche battled back by undergoing a double mastectomy. Today, she feels like she can conquer the world. "I'm healthy, I'm alive, and I'm kicking butt."
Illness exists for a reason
Kelly was in the bathtub with her two daughters, ages 1 and 2, when she noticed something wasn't right. In the span of five days, she found a lump, had a biopsy, and learned she had stage 3 breast cancer. Undergoing treatment has been the biggest challenge of Kelly's life so far, and receiving lots of tenderness and support helped her along the way.
Harriet Legum's Story
Harriet Legum, originally diagnosed in 1987, won the fight against breast cancer after a lumpectomy and radiation treatment. Unfortunately, the cancer returned three years ago. After a mastectomy, Harriet is now a two-time survivor of the disease, able to inspire others with her courageous story.

Lu Ann's Story

During a self-examination, Anna found a lump in her breast that was later found to be cancerous. With the help of her family and friends, she found the courage to fight the disease and ultimately won the battle. Now, she hopes to inspire other women to defeat breast cancer as well.
